No.6 Babmaes Street is an amenity space developed to support the St James’s business community by offering formal and informal meeting space; a sanctuary providing shared facilities for our customers to work, socialise and network together in the heart of the West End.
A hive of activity and a home from home, No. 6 Babmaes Street is designed and equipped as an open space for members to gather, share and liberate a new way of working and entertaining.
Please download the No.6 Babmaes Street app to gain access and to use the facilities.
The No.6 Babmaes Street Community Team is responsible for the smooth running of the building and looking after our members. Helping you get connected, caffeinated, hydrated, booked in, logged on and informed about who and what is happening on site.

Membership 

Your Membership at No. 6 Babmaes Street gives you access to a range of spaces designed to satisfy different work scenarios:
Please note that No.6 Babmaes Street cannot be used as a business address, members must not publish the name, address, telephone, or fax number of the building on any of their business communications such as their website, email signature, letterheads business cards, or any other publication.

Operating Hours & Access

We open from 7.30am until 7pm and are happy to welcome you between these times, we also hold events and social activities for our members out of hours, please refer to the digital screens in 6 Babmaes Street or your app for details of the schedule.
No.6 Babmaes Street is closed on public holidays.

Speak to the Community Team during Operating Hours to access various member and guest services, including:
We operate a fair use policy; we encourage you to use 6 Babmaes Street to come and go however please refrain from occupying communal spaces for four hours or longer. During busy times it may be necessary to share seating or desk space. Your guests are can join you in our bookable spaces – meeting rooms and events only.
Please do not reserve space using coats, bags or other personal belongings. Lockers are available for use for the duration of your visit on a first come first served basis, please ask at the Reception desk for details.
All Guests are required to sign in at the Community Desk upon arrival.The member they are visiting will then be notified of their arrival.
For the safety and security of all members, guests and staff, we encourage all users of the building to be vigilant to the practice of ‘Tailgating’ and operates a ‘polite challenge’ policy.If you do not recognise the person following you into the lift, or through an access-controlled door, you should not provide access without question.Members, staff and contractors at No.6 Babmaes Street all carry access cards and will be able to show them upon request. In most cases, you will simply get to meet a new arrival, in others please notify the Community Team of any individuals causing you concern.
Please always carry your access card with you as access control readers manage entry and exit to and from all floors.
Cards will be issued to each member during induction.
Cards must only be used by the designated member.
Please notify a member of the Community Team immediately if you have lost your card.

Your Account

Members’ account details can be managed online via our member portal.
Members are responsible for ensuring that any software updates to the member portal (provided by Nexudus) are installed on their devices.

Use of the space

Peak Times

Occupancy of communal areas at No. 6 Babmaes Street is likely to fluctuate from time to time. At peak times, seating areas should be shared where possible.

Guests

All guests must register at the Community Desk upon arrival and be with you at all times. Guests are to be accompanied by you for meetings and are not permitted to occupy an individual desk or table, or remain at No. 6 Babmaes Street if you are not present.

Amenities & Services 

Cleaning & Recycling

No. 6 Babmaes Street is a self-serve / self-clear workspace. Please put used cups, crockery, cutlery etc. in the dishwashers provided at each Tea Point.
Our House Keeping team will be on site during Operating Hours. Please report any spillages to the Community Team to ensure prompt action is taken.

Internet

Wireless internet connection is provided for the benefit of members and their guests, any passwords required for the use of the internet connection must not be divulged to any other party. The Wi-Fi is provided for all members to enjoy responsibly, operating under a fair usage policy. You can wirelessly connect five devices at any one time, per user. 
Guests and visitors may access the Guest Wi-Fi Network.

Tea-Points

A selection of hot and cold beverages are available for you to enjoy in our communal spaces and we understand the need for snacks, however 6 Babmaes Street is not designed as a canteen therefore please be respectful of those around you and do not consume food outside of the meeting rooms and event spaces.
6 Babmaes Street is designed as self- serve, please clear cups, glasses and any litter to the designated point at the end of your visit.

Printing 

Should you need to print a document while visiting No. 6 Babmaes Street please speak to one of the Community Team who will be happy to assist you.

Terrace

The Terrace is located on the third floor and is accessible for use by all Members during Operating Hours, unless booked for an event or private function. Please note the terrace is a non-smoking area and has a maximum capacity of 30 people.

Repairs & Maintenance

Please report any faults or repair requests to the Community Team on hello@6babmaesstreet.com.
From time to time, planned maintenance for the building will be required. Works will be managed to ensure any disruption to members’ activities are minimised when possible.

Resources 

Meeting Rooms

Meeting rooms are available to hire and are charged on an hourly basis. The rooms are located on the first and third floors, ranging in capacity from six to ten people. You can book them through the member portal, please refer to the member portal for meeting room prices or speak to the Community Team. All meeting rooms are equipped with AV equipment for presentations, video conferencing and teleconferencing.
Meeting Rooms are a community resource, so please don’t hold others up by overrunning your booked time and clear the room of any used items (cups, plates, glasses etc.) when you are finished. No. 6 Babmaes Street is a self-serve, self-clear space and operates a ‘Leave No Trace’ policy – please leave spaces as you would expect to find them.
Hire of our meeting rooms and associated services will be charged on consumption. Payment by credit card will be taken after the booking has finished.
Refunds may not be available for additional services provided via third parties or suppliers such as catering or additional AV requirements which have been booked and confirmed in advance.

Lockers

Lockers are available on the Ground floor on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Work Booths

There are booths for collaborative working on the first floor.

Telephone Booths

Wherever possible please use the private telephone booths to make and receive telephone calls. These are located on the first floor.

Co-Working Desks

There is a co-working area located on the first floor on a first come first serve basis.

Events

The Event Space is located on the ground floor and is the main venue for Community Events Programme at No. 6 Babmaes Street.
The Event Space is also available for hire, with fees charged to your account. Speak to the Community Team for more information.

Safety & Security

All members will need to undergo a health and safety induction prior to collecting their membership card.

Fire

Members are responsible for the wellbeing of their own staff and visitors at all times, when in the building.This applies during an emergency evacuations, and requires awareness of the locations and operation of the Refuge Points throughout the building. Additionally, members must report any health and safety concerns (e.g. obstructions to evacuation routes) to the Community Team, immediately.

Security 

CCTV is in use on building perimeter, entry and exit points and relevant common building areas such as main corridor spaces, co-working spaces, stairwells, and lobby areas.

Drugs & Alcohol

We aim to provide a professional environment which ensures the health, safety, wellbeing for our members and visitors.The use of drugs and alcohol may impair an individual’s capacity to work safely. Alcohol consumption, including that consumed at events hosted by No.6 Babmaes Street, should be in moderation.Anyone found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused entry or required to leave the office.No.6 Babmaes Street reserves the right to refuse access to any member found to be intoxicated in the building.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the building or within 25 metres of the building.

First Aid

A First Aid box is located at the Community Desk on the Ground Floor. The No. 6 Babmaes Street Community Team contains trained First Aiders.
